Frangelico Sour Cocktail
A nutty and balanced Frangelico Sour cocktail made with hazelnut liqueur, fresh lemon juice and a silky egg white foam. An easy sour recipe perfect for after-dinner drinks or entertaining.

- 60 mL Frangelico (hazelnut liqueur)
- 30 mL fresh lemon juice
- 15 mL egg white
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Ice
- Dried lemon slice or maraschino cherry to serve
Add Frangelico, lemon juice, egg white and bitters to a cocktail shaker.
Shake without ice (dry shake) for 15 seconds to build foam.
Add ice and shake again for 20–30 seconds until well chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass or rocks glass with ice.
Garnish with a dried lemon slice or maraschino cherry and serve immediately.

For a vegetarian option, replace the egg white with equal parts aquafaba.

For a sweeter drink, add 5–10 mL simple syrup.

Skip the egg white if you prefer a sharper, lighter cocktail without foam.
