Spicy Pineapple Margaritas

Ingredients

Salted rim

  • 2 tablespoon fine salt
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes

Cocktail

  • 30 mL blanco tequila
  • 30 mL Cointreau or triple sec
  • 15 mL lemon juice
  • 60 mL pineapple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon dried chilli flakes
  • Dehydrated pineapple slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare your glass by running a slice of lemon along the rim and then dipping into a combination of salt and chilli flakes. Fill the glass with ice.⁣
  • To make the cocktail, add tequila, orange liqueur, lemon juice, pineapple juice and chilli flakes to a cocktail shaker.⁣ Add ice and shake to chill, about 15 seconds.
  • Strain into prepared glass. Top with dehydrated pineapple slice to serve.⁣
