Nothing really beats the smell of freshly baked bread, as cliché as that sounds.
If you have time on your hands before a party or barbeque, making your own bread rolls can take a hamburger to a whole new level.
Whilst fairly straightforward to make, it can take some practice to make the perfect bun, so don’t be put off if your first try is a flop!
These rolls are fantastic with fresh salad and meats, a smear of butter and vegemite or a drizzle of honey.
Makes 8 buns
1 packet dry yeast (7g)
½ cup warm water
½ cup milk
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups all-pupose flour
1 tbsp butter
