Pork Dumplings

I forgot to post this last week! My post for Moustache Magazine: Pork Dumplings.

PROS of being Asian: many festivals, an incredibly rich culture, and amazing food.

CONS of being Asian: stereotyped a ‘bad driver’, living up to the stereotype of being a bad driver, and having to increase the volume of your voice when you’re in a large group of other Asians, so to outsiders it appears like you’re all yelling in foreign tongues, but really, this is just how you communicate.

I feel like the pros outweigh the cons.

As a halfie (half Asian, half Caucasian), I felt compelled to pick up something from my mother before I moved out of home. Sadly, I failed to learn the language because my pronunciation was less than adequate, so I turned to watching her cook and managed to remember a dumpling recipe.
