Carrot Cake Smoothie

Are you too lazy to whip out the mixing bowl and bake a cake?

Is it constantly an inner battle between really loving cake and being really lazy?

I have a solution for you!

Carrot cake smoothie!

All the wonderful flavours of carrot cake in a drinkable beverage!

Carrot Cake Smoothie
Makes 1

1 cup carrot, shredded
2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
1 banana, preferably frozen
1/4 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup milk (I used unsweetened almond)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves

Whiz all ingredients in a blender. If your bananas aren’t frozen, add a couple of ice cubes.

I pizazzed mine up with some grated carrot, chopped walnuts and cinnamon on top.

Enjoy the wonder that is carrot cake  in drink form!
