Brisbane Eats: Gramercy Espresso & Eats
If you follow your nose to a tiny nook tucked away down the laneway entrance of Wintergarden, you’ll find splendid little snacks and delicious coffee for anyone eager to escape the hustle of Queen street mall. Gramercy is the perfect place for a quick pick-me-up, whether that be in food or drink form.
With consistent menu options carrying out through the day, Gramercy have a cute assortment of homemade treats in an eclectic display right out front if you’re interested in something straight up. Keeping up to date with current cafe trends, smoothies and juices are served in hipster jars, the staff take your order on an ipad and you’re instantly hit in the face with their eye-catching decor. I’m not at all saying that this is a bad thing – all these components just make me want to buy from Gramercy more. The coffee served is a blend from Sydney’s Reuben Hills roasters.
The staff are friendly and the prices are cheap, there are plenty of vegetarian options available, I’ve always found the coffee to be good and a there is a charming vibe about the place. Next time you’re in the CBD, check out this little cafe for something delightful.
